  • Join the Learner Council


    We spoke with Learner Council member Linda Bedford about her experiences of being on the Learner Council. With applications opening soon please have a look at the video to see what being a Learner Council member is about. If you think you would like to join the council, email iarora@hillingdon.gov.uk. Please note that you are eligible to apply for the council if you are a course representative and are passionate about making a difference in your learning experience!

    Becoming a learner councillor offers the opportunity to:

    ·         represent your fellow learner’s voice on matters that affect you all

    ·         influence service initiatives

    ·         develop your communication skills

    ·         and much more!

    To apply, submit a paragraph about yourself, why you want to join the council, what you will bring to the council and why you think you will be a good council member.

    The deadline for applications is Wednesday 27th November 2024

    Voting takes place from Monday 2nd December - 6th December 2024

    Elected members will be announced by Tuesday 10th December 2024
