  • Join the Learner Council

    Have your voice heard and help shape the future of Learn Hillingdon. As a Learner Councillor, you’ll represent your fellow learners, share feedback, and work with staff to make positive changes. It’s a great way to build your confidence, communication, and leadership skills, all while making a real difference.

     If you think you'd like to join the council, email iarora@hillingdon.gov.uk. Please note that you are eligible to apply for the council if you are a course representative and are passionate about improving your learning experience!

    Becoming a learner councillor offers the opportunity to:

    ·         represent your fellow learner’s voice on matters that affect you all

    ·         influence service initiatives

    ·         develop your communication skills

    ·         and much more!

    To apply, submit a paragraph about yourself, why you want to join the council, what you will bring to the council and why you think you will be a good council member.

    The deadline for applications is Wednesday 19th November 2025

    Voting takes place from Monday 24th November - 28th November 2025

    Elected members will be announced by Wednesday 3rd December 2025
